SingingDocs: Theme Actual Future Past Special DocPresentation

Singing is the origin of all music!

since the body itself is the instrument of the artist (who is the soul using the body!)
This is a very intimate "instrument", thus it is logical that the different singing schools are very "subjective" and everybody is very secure that HIS/HER teacher´s method is the best......

I had the opportunity to take private lessons from an italian "maestro" from Catania/Sicily/Italy in Milano, Renzo Maselli, in the years 1986 to 1989.
He made me understand that in any case a study of singing in Italy is recommendable since the origins of classical singing is here!
His favourite composer comes from Catania and is Vincenzo Bellini: He composed perfectly on the voice in the sense of "belcanto".

Do NOT miss to listen to Maria Callas CDs having the Italian text (and your english translation) right beside. From her divine text interpretation you can understand a lot about music and expression. Since I spoke Italian I understood the phenomenon Callas because I could match the sense of the text to the immense intensive interpretation of the Callas! See OperaDocs!!!

Singing in all possible sparts, I like to do since many years. My best teacher, I ever had, was ANNA REYNOLDS in Mannheim. I`ve visited many Master- and summer-courses in Austria, Italy and Germany. I prefere to sing songs from Schubert, Schumann, Brahms a.s.o., but also opera-arias or oratorien for example from J.S.Bach......To sing the II.Dame in the performance of "Zauberflöte" from W.A.Mozart I would enjoy very much!!

Yours, Gabriele

otherwise she works as a general practitioner in Heidelberg.

The  has begun to upload a series of films beginning with "Winterreise" of Franz Schubert.
For some tracks he combines his photos with the music in a synesthetic manner - a good artwork!
