World Sports Games in Evian/France 2001

German doctors were among the best Volleyball players. During the world games of medicine in Evian/France this year the germans took the first two places in classical and beach volleyball.

Also single sport disciplines were successful: Jürgen Scholz from Cologne with three first places or Jos Zwomor Gal from Bad Kreuznach with his Tennis single.

4.000 doctors, pharmacists and physio-therapists from 30 countries participated June 2001.
Next ydear they are planned from 22nd to 29th June 2002 in Tihany at the "Plattensee" in Hungary.

From 1st to 8th July 2000 the 21st Jeux Mondiaux de la Médecine (JMM) (World Games of Medicine) take place in Cannes.
Until 31. May sportive docs, dentists, pharmacists and physiotherapists can apply for 190 € after that date only for 205 €.

This notification comes from the german representative MPR.

Every year about 4.000 medical professionalists participate in these games.

Kinds of sport used: Golf, Cycling, swimming, soccer, light athletics, team games (mostly interesting for clinic teams!).
No qualification rounds necessary. No age restrictions, but the grouping is after the age.
