Fingering at piano playingNodes in your fingers? Forget about the nodes in your fingers when you play
piano. Before you play the piano you better learn about the secrets
of fingering. Or do you have too much time overflow running a doctor´s office (MAC users can create a Virtual PC with a software and use the eBook technology as well.)

There is a revolutionary tool on the market, little known and not too
cheap.....
I have presented it on the world-biggest music trade show in Frankfurt, see newspaper
article (German)
You can link between two whatever pianos equipped with the PianoLink system at whatever place on earth over two ISDN lines (or internet?).
Then the two players see each other over a monitor.
They can play one for the other like this:
A pianist was in Sacramento/US and played on his PianoLink piano.
The keys of the other piano in Frankfurt/Germany (on the world´s biggest music
trade show "Musikmesse")
moved its keys exactly like he played in Sacramento and his picture was shown
simultaneously on the Video Screen: LIVE!
This makes possible for you to have online piano lessons with Wolfgang Ellenberger.
But you must ask for the conditions according to the place where you are. Pleas mail to Wolfgang[AT]Ellenberger.name
Thank you!

From 1991 to 2000 I had the pleasure to organize more than 30 master classes for medical doctors in Germany. They came from all over the country and very often came back again and again (up to 10 times!).
See our special about the piano master classes!

Here I present you not the PianoDoc but the PianoDog:
have you known that in the last years the german doctor and concert pianist Wolfgang Ellenberger has given over 30 (thirty) master classes for musical PianoDocs who came from all over Germany and even the neighbour countries?
There were hundreds of participants. Many of them repeated the courses for two, three, five and up to ten times! The athmosphere of these courses was like in a big family........
One
of the "cracks" of these courses:
Dr. med. Robert Toussaint, pediater in north Germany:

Mozart Sonata in d major for four hands at the opening event for the

Isabel Serrano is PianoDoc, ViolinDoc, ClarinetDoc
Hi, Wolfgang.
Nowadays and for a month I am going to be very busy -exams-. (July 2005)
But you can see some photos of me playing the piano -and other instruments-
They are from an (very) old program of a concert in my faculty
in 2003 [ http://webpages.ull.es/users/fvallapa/Programa_2003.htm
]
here in Tenerife.
Some other hobbies: swimming -better at the sea- or going on bike, reading,
drawing with fountain pen,
various incursions in other instruments and music groups -orchestra, chamber
music, music band, big band-...
I have done some interventions in medical students congresses, or a web page about
pathology..
]
A beginning, but with the time, I would like to make my own web page as you..-.
Best regards,
Isabel Serrano Tendero
Medicine & Piano Student
See a lot photos and exchange about Isabel!
Dear Mr Ellenberger,
many thanks about the fast reply! First of all I would like to introduce myself, I am working at the university hospital of Bonn/Germany as assistant doctor for a year now and have studied music before my medical studies - piano! I have concluded my music studies but have neglected this a bit during my medical studies, so I have not practised professionally any more for 8 years. I am performing publically as singer in the university choir but not as instrumentalist. Of course the project in Frankfurt is very interesting but I cannot confirm about the Mozart sonata since I have changes in front of me. I will practise the sonata (d major, 4 hands) and we might play it some time. I am looking forward to an intensive exchange with many other MusicDocs and colleagues with other talents!
Kind regards

Kamerhan Turan
Kamerhan Turan was born in Ankara in 1965, where he began to play the piano at
the age of seven
with Prof. Ferhunde Erkin. He then continued his piano and music studies with
the duo-pianists
Elif and Bedii Aran. After his graduation in Pharmacy from the Hacettepe
University
in 1987 he entered the "Hochschule für Musik und darstellende Kunst" in Vienna,
where he studied
with Prof. Noel Flores and Prof. Roland Keller.
During his studies he was awarded scholarships by the Austrian Ministry of
Culture
and the "Alban Berg Music Foundation".
in his presentation!
Dear colleague Ellenberger,
it is
amazing how my modest musical activities are getting known. I play the piano
from age 7 on though non-professional but for fun. In the last years I did not
really have enough time to practise....
5 years ago I have added a little concert hall to my house about 50 sq meters
up to 60 seats with a new Steinway D concert grand and thus fulfilled a dream.
In this private setting I manage 6 to 8 house recitals per year, mainly for
piano solo. For this purpose I have founded the Andor Schmidt foundation for
promotion of young musicians" since I have no commercial interests.
I am recruiting my young pianists are mostly coming from the class of Lev
Natochenny (Mani Ejiri, Evgenia Rubinova, Guoda Gedvilaite and others) from
the Frankfurt music academy. We also have chamber music events with singing as
well as Jazz recitals (Adomas Rekasius, Maggy Scott and others). I am sorry
not to have a web page yet to give information. So far we have managed 36
concerts, and I hope for your interest to get our e-mail newsletter. Would be
nice to find more interested listeners to our concerts via your web page!
With kind
regards

Applause after Desch's "Aufruf des Dalai Lama" Melodram
There is little to say about my professional career. Music, piano and
composition studies were runing parallel with the medical studies.....
[remark from Wolfgang Ellenberger: Right, Otmar, nothing easier than that!]
After my medical exam I was working at the theatre in Münster/Germany for 15
years (my parents were frightened), then I went to Berlin to have an own office
as a general practitioner
(and NOT give up to compose and give recitals in the Berlin area). As I had
planned I sold the office at age 60 and from end of 2001 I am musical director,
pianist and composer at the theatre in Stendal/Germany. www.tda-stendal.de

...this much
for today!

than as a medium music teacher.
We have built an interdisciplinary hospital and are internationally active

This friendly Swiss colleague is concert pianist.
He asked
me where he could get the "pianoplan" which you can see here:
Listen to some samples of his CD: |
He sent me the CD, it will be in our big MusicDoc collection and it sounds phantastic, he plays his own music which is romantical and very original.
Very surprising Kei Oide is medical doctor in Japan
and he managed to make a piano diploma in his country.
After this he studied piano in the ICOM
Hamburg/Germany and I had the occasion to work with him a bit on his Liszt
Ballade
which is shown partly in our film this newsletter, when we met in Berlin some
time ago. Bravo Kei!!
