In the North of Switzerland near Solothurn is the village Nennigkofen, where the General Practitioner makes his leisure rounds with his horse pulling his carriage. That looks like fun!
His novel "The Yacoubian Building" is like a diamond facetting social, business
life up to the political dimension in Hosni Mubarak's Egypt. The different
charakters who live in one single building are mirroring the whole society.

He is professional recorder flute player.
With his chamber music ensemble he performs programs with mostly own
compositions.
He performs in the band of the well-known TV-show "Zimmer
frei" of WDR/Germany

The MusicDoc from Kiel/North Germany has studied
piano and organ with Ernst Hörbe. He began his musical career with organ
recitals all over North Germany, Denmark, France and Poland. IN 1977 he founded
the Symphony Orchestra Melsdorf.
Beginning with "Kleiner Chor" in 1980 they performed oratories in original
language and after a performance with music of Rachmaninov renamned the choir
after him.
In 1999 he was called the carillonist of the new carillon in Kiel. He plays it every first Saturday of the monthe at 11 a.m.

Simon Xie Hong was working as a doctor in China, then came to Vienna and opened
