0) Personal report:
Some of you might be interested that I have changed work from
www.innere.name to
www.Schloss-Waldleiningen.de
and I am quite happy about it.
At my new work I am not only working as a doctor (ca. 26 hrs) in a
marvellous office but building up an
electronical patient record and thus making the work flow more effectively...
More than that I am also co-responsable for marketing and maybe also for some
concerts for the patients and the public.
For concerts our association has just got a YAMAHA Grand Touch piano
GT1 and we are happy to offer you recitals at any place in Germany and
nearby (including the piano as hand-luggage!!!) if you are interested - as a
beneficial concert with presentation of our DoctorsTalents.com e.V. association. Call me at +49 (1520) 176 71 55 or at work
(Mo thru Fri 8 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.) +49 (6284) 21 28 21 (for groups I am out of
office every once and a while for an hour).

of life both.

Gert Feser is conducting the "ensemble con brio",
one of the leading amateur orchestras in Würzburg/Germany. He is medical doctor
and professor for music therapy and understands making music as a fountain for
joy and prevention of diseases and protection of human spirit and creativity.
Thus his rehearsals are often making the participants enthusiastic.....
Feser has studied with Prof. Reinartz at the Würzburg
music academy and passed his exam as conductor. He took classes with Sergiu
Celibidache in Bologna and with Michael Gielen in Frankfurt. In 1970 he received
a prize of the "Deutscher Musikrat". Now he holds master classes in Germany,
France and Italy.

The surgeon Alexander Maassen is PoliticDoc, he was treasurer of
the Berlin CDU (christian democratic party) and has played as a "porno star" in
about 50 movies....
This has been a scandal (see press pics in the photo) but similar scandals in
the past had been tolerated nevertheless by the party's friends - living and
letting live.........
Meanwhile he is working in the computer business and has
quit the CDU.
11) Werner Bockelmann
is ComposerDoc
his
CD "Leipzig Polonaise", one of his major compositions.
Jan
Bochański
(natural name Werner Bockelmann) was born in St. Wendel/Saar/Germany as son of a
doctor family (5th generation). After World War II he was in Melsungen/Germany
where he got rare piano lessons and did not have composition but made his first
attempts to compose. 1947 to 1953 he studied medicine and law in
Homburg/Saar, Paris and Heidelberg. After his MD, thesis and specialisation in
ophthalmology he worked scientifically and got severyl patents atz the
Battelle-Institute. He settled as ophthalmologist in Oberursel/Germany, later in
Frankfurt (Main).
He was active Rallye-driver (seven
participation at the "Tour d'Europe"), motor journalist and wrote a book
about eye-glasses-cardriving, he was free lance for several car magazines and
radio stations. Since 1975 he regularly writes compositions, mainly piano works
in form of variations, dances and character pieces.

Ulisse Aldrovandi
Aldrovandi was born in
Bologna to a noble family, which sent him to apprentice with
merchants, but he found his vocation, after studying
humanities and
law
at the universities of Bologna and
Padua
and becoming a
notary. Successively his interests went out to
philosophy and
logic
which he combined with the study of medicine.
He obtained a
degree in medicine and
philosophy in
1553
and started teaching
logic
and philosophy in
1554
at the University of Bologna. In
1559
he became professor of philosophy and in
1561
he became the first professor of
natural sciences at Bologna (lectura philosophiae
naturalis ordinaria de
fossilibus, plantis et animalibus).

It All Began
Here...
When I was about 5 years old I used to listen to
my Dad play the old Hammond chord organ in our living room. He'd come
home from work, have dinner and then sit and play "It's Only a Paper
Moon" among other great show tunes. I started goofing around and
making up my own songs on the old Hammond and one thing led to another
and I became a drummer! Yes, that's right. Instead of taking piano
lessons I took drum lessons. I had the old rubber practice pad and
learned my rudiments. Pretty soon I was playing in the school marching
band and a high school rock band. I always loved the keyboard though,
and continued to play by ear.
After a stint at Ohio University playing the conga
drums in the Jazz ensemble, I transferred to Berklee in Boston. That's
where I met some really great musician's and started to see where my
place was in music. One of my close friends at Berklee, Steve McCraven,
was studying drums. He heard me play both the piano and the drums and
said "forget the drums, stick to piano", and that's what I did. |

The
rest of the story...
I studied piano with Ray Santisi and formed an electric jazz-fusion
group in Boston. We moved to western Massachusetts and made some
incredible music for a couple of years. Very spontaneous, highly
improvisational. The group went their separate ways and I ended-up
back in Cleveland where it all started. |
