• www.DoctorsHobbies.com/Benefizdocs.htm about Doctors who organize benefiz-events
  for humanitarian projects.
• www.DoctorsHobbies.com/SculptureDocs.htm with an original sculpture attached at a house
  hosting a group of doctors´offices and a pharmacy.
• www.DoctorsHobbies.com/ComingCompetitions.htm lists up events for doctors with or without
  significant prizes but anyways with a nice experience on participation.....!
• www.DoctorsHobbies.com/LoveDocs.htm is presenting an occasion to insert an announcement
  for nearly nothing for Doctors who are looking for long-lasting contacts.
  Maybe this is a critical theme, but I am aware that in important magazines like the
  Deutsches Ärzteblatt there are a whole lot of announcements for partners.
  Seeing that love is universal and can be "handled" also absolutely seriously I would never
  dare to avoid this in DoctorsHobbies!!!
• www.DoctorsHobbies.com/TheatreDocs.htm presents a Doctor who has brought up a whole theatre
  in the center of Essen and performs here regularly besides different tournee activities.
  Very impressing hobby in this professional manner! Though the original site is only in German it might be interesting
  to follow the link to the original site.
• www.DoctorsHobbies.com/PingPongDocs.htm shows another competition which is going to happen in Italy next year.
  Amazing how many sports -also popular types of sport- are managed by Docs on this country-wide level.
• www.DoctorsHobbies.com/ChoirDocs.htm is a European medical students Choir where anybody can join.
  They are making projects once or twice a year and gather always in a different country.
  A very dynamical group as I found out in a telephone call with one of their organisers in Berlin.
• www.DoctorsHobbies.com/GolfDocs.htm is presenting its next Golf-tournament for June 2003.
  German Docs can participate for sure, but Docs from other countries might be interested just to be there
  or even report about similar activities from their countries........

2) New themes with a bit of humour.

Well, when I studied a whole lot of medical homepages I felt a great general lack of humour.
OK, medicine in itself is a serious working field. Sick patients do want to be taken seriously.
But on the other hand "laughing is the best medicine"!
So we should find the right moment to laugh.
The best way - and the most difficult at times- is to laugh at yourself!
This shows that you have a little bit of "therapeutical distance" to yourself and thus can also
treat others with a bit of humour where it is convenient.

Doctors often are perfectionists!

They say I cannot publish a homepage if it is not perfect! It must contain the newest internet technology
and be super-professional in the layout and contents.

Wow! Why  don´t you just calm down and try to be a little private?
It always depends whom you tell about your domain.
If you give it only to your family and friends why don´t you just make a few first steps?

Have a look at Dr. Angelo Buono´s site who subscribed to the newsletter and won a 10 MB webspace.
That convinced him to book his own .com - Domain (for 20 € a year) and just begin with the very first steps.
Every time I meet him in Naples he asks me some more details how to build and publish a web.

So every month a little improvement is inserted to his web. He is modest enough to give an example
to do something and not stand still !!
