1) Did you already be thrilled by the recording
with the eleven-year-old Maria Eberle with the German Doctors´Orchestra?

Imagine: A eleven year old girl in Donauwörth close to Munich in south Germany, both parents medical doctors.

She gets violin lessons from a Russian lady teacher and her development is stunning!

The parents know the German doctors orchestra with its conductor and secretary located in Munich.

So they decide to make a co-production. Veronika Maria Eberle is going to play one movement from a Mozart violin concerto in

A major. This is in January (I think to remember it was 1999).

She has good success and the orchestra is overwhelmed by her natural way of playing.

Then she gets another chance to play the full violin concerto in A major by Mozart in July of the same year in the little village

Buchen/Odenwald where I live. I had the pleasure to host the recital of the German Doctors Orchestra there.

She plays Mozart that makes tears come into my eyes and that is not very easy to achieve...........

Just another half year later this little girl plays again with the German Doctors Orchestra: After an extremely short period

of three months of study she performed the first movement of the big romantic and famous violin concerto in g minor by Max Bruch!

This was performed for the 10-year-jubilee recital of the GDO and around this it was recorded in the studios of the Bavarian radio station

with super-professional equipment.

Well, the docs wouldn´t have been able to afford that recording. But the Asche AG has sponsored it and has given the CD to their doctor clients...

The Asche AG and the German Doctors Orchestra was friendly enough to give the permission to use this recording.

This is why you now can deeply enjoy this recording just clicking onthis link:

2) Do you mind if I tell you something of my efforts when inserting the new portal DoctorsHobbies into the big big big world wide web?

Since I had begun the piano master classes for medical doctors in 1991 I had always gained more and more contacts of colleagues having interesting hobbies, in the beginning mainly playing the piano.

Our intensive contacts during long week-ends brought up many themes also about other hobbies. So the base of the contents of the web was some year of collecting informations.

Now it is there (and steadily growing) it has enough substance to be known out there.

a) Search engines submission

is only one factor which of course has to be done. I used WebPositionGold software but have not done too much about it.
Some search engines like Yahoo.com have got manual submissions but they will work not before in 6 weeks....

b) Linking strategy

is my present occupation. I write e-mails to many many medical website owners and ask if they would like to give their client base the information about this interesting hobby site for free and thus have some image advantage giving this valuable information.

And in fact: More and more sites link to DoctorsHobbies! This shows that the reception of it is good! People like it and have obviously discovered things they did not know before.

In my mail I proposed to set up a link or give the news in a mailing or even make a promotion. So some other people in Austraila inserted it into a mailing and this brought up two doctors from New Zealand as subscribers, hello colleagues from the other side of the world! That was a nice surprise!

c) e-mail promotion

Then I had the thought that medical journals would be a phantastic channel for multiplicating the news and through many hours of intensive research in the internet I found about 250 e-mail adresses of MedJournals all over the world.

Having taken a very powerful professional mailing software called Mailloop (see under ComputerDocs) I first tried a test mailing to several own e-mail accounts. Pow! In just a few seconds (much faster than Outlook! Mailloop acts as an own mailserver) the mails were sent.

So I had to tweek around the formate of the mailing and repeat the test several times before I could make the click for outsending this link request to a significant basis of medical editors in the world. This was just finished after as few as five minutes!

d) forums

There are a bunch of forums in the medical field. Many are strictly related to their medical topic so it is disopportune to insert some information about Doctors Hobbies. But others seem to be open and receptive for such contribution.

So in the signature you insert after your contribution there is a link to DoctorsHobbies. This also is good for further search engine results searching for hobbies and doctors.

e) further marketing strategy

Well there is a lot to do! I have gone through the INternet Marketing course of Corey Rudl (also presented in ComputerDocs) and I

understand perfectly what multiple approaches can be done. But I have only three evenings a week (maximum!) so I do little step by little step......

3) Do you know any recordings on CompactDisc done by medical doctors?

No? But you should! There is an interesting amount of such recordings around.

Since the doctors mostly have no time for marketing and rather have a regional activity it is seldom that these recordings get around.

Only sometimes if pharmaceutical companies do some CDs and give it to the docs by their representatives who are travelling of course this

is far more than regional. Although also these activities are mostly limited to one country only.

the German pharmaceutical company Grünenthal did a piano competition for docs for several years now and every year edited a Compactdisc which was distributed several thousand times to the docs in their offices. But only in Germany.

Have a look at a list of recordings I know: http://www.ccc.docwebs.com/EN/ENmusikeraerzteCDliste.htm

So I must tell you that there are two recordings which you can get from anywhere right away over the internet:

It is my new eBook Travel Diary Of A Concert Grand Piano

and the  eBook "Liederabend" (singing recital with a dentist mezzo-soprano ...).

The advantages of the Travel Diary are listed in all details on its own homepage.

Study this information thoroughly and see how you can get it there!

There will be always more recording material available over DoctorsHobbies.com but this is the beginning!
